The first half of August

Jae and Erica were welcomed home from their 2nd week in Europe to a flooded and molded new house. Due to repairs and cleaning they lived with Berry and I for 2 weeks...we had a great time, we even referred to it as camp! It was a very unfortunate thing to happen and we were happy for them when they got to go home after 4 weeks of not being at home.

Berry and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary on August 1st. Because that was a Monday we celebrated the previous Saturday night with a trip to one of our favorite restaurants, The Cheesecake Factory, in Charlotte




On our actual anniversary we grilled steaks with Jae and Erica and even had some wedding cake. It froze so good the first year, and we had so much, that we decided to push our luck and freeze some more for year 2. I'm so glad we did because it was as good as the day we had it!!!




It is all wrapped up in the picture, and I forgot to get another picture after we unwrapped it!




The first weekend in August my mom and I went on a day trip to the beach. We had a great time and it actually wasn't too hot on this particular day.







We were chased off the beach by a heavy rain storm but managed to get plenty of sun first!





Berry and I made ice cream for the first time. We made peach which was very delicious but definitely not healthy!
