The Help

I read this book a little over a year ago and really enjoyed it. The plot was good and the characters were interesting, I wanted to keep reading it to find out how it unfolded.




This weekend my mom and I went to see the movie. We waited a few weeks after the release thinking the crowds would have died down. We went to the 1:20 matinee, but there were only a few empty seats in the theater. For the first time I can remember, the movie was as good (if not better) than the book. And that's saying something because the book was VERY good. Go see it if you can, but read the book first!
